1: The Overall Theme
From the lobby to guest rooms — and everywhere in between — you’ll feel as though you’ve stepped right into the world of a few of your favorite animated films: Finding Nemo, Cars, The Lion King, and The Little Mermaid. 2: Family Suites
In addition to Standard Rooms in The Little Mermaid section of the resort, Art of Animation boasts Family Suites in each of its other courtyards: Finding Nemo, The Lion King, and Cars. Each Family Suite can accommodate up to 6 guests. These rooms are a great option for larger families and those just wanting more space!
The Family Suites come complete with a separate bedroom (including a door!), two full bathrooms, a living space, and a small kitchenette. As you can see in the slideshow, the bedroom has a Queen bed while the living space offers a Double sleeper sofa and a Double table bed.
3: Landscape of Flavors
Landscape of Flavors, the resort’s food court, is one of the best Quick Service eateries at Walt Disney World! The menu offers more than your typical Quick Service fare of pizza and burgers (though there are plenty of those, too). Surf & Surf Burger, Butter Chicken, and Tandoori Shrimp are just a few of the unique dishes currently available here. The “Create Your Own Salad” and “Create Your Own Pasta” stations are also favorites. And don’t forget to get some gelato for dessert!
4: The Pools
Aptly named, the Big Blue Pool is the largest pool at all of the Walt Disney World Resort hotels! This zero-entry pool contains over 308,527 gallons of water — stick your head below the surface and you’ll hear music, as well as some of your favorite characters from Finding Nemo! Two additional pools can be found in The Little Mermaid and Cars courtyards for even more splashing fun!
5: Animation Classes
Yes, FREE animation classes are available at this Walt Disney World resort hotel! Guests are welcome to stop by daily for a complimentary drawing lesson. (Schedule and availability are subject to change, so it’s best to check with a Cast Member in the Lobby.) You can also check out the Character Artist on-hand daily to watch him or her sketch various Disney characters. These sketches are even for sale in the resort’s gift shop!
