My family and I had the pleasure of staying Club Level recently at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. This was our first time staying Club Level – I had toured Club Level sections at other resorts so I was familiar with the amenities, but reality far surpassed my expectations. My children and husband declared that they want to stay Club Level every time we visit!

(Side note: I believe I’ve left a part of my heart at “the Poly” as it keeps calling me home. It’s just a lovely resort, with a relaxing vibe and stellar location with monorail and boat access to Magic Kingdom.)

What is Club Level?

When you book a Club Level room, you are booking a vacation that includes VIP treatment and access to what is essentially a private, on-site resort club.Your MagicBand enables you to enter the private building or section, with private lounge, and private concierge service. Each “club lounge” has it’s own name to match the hotel’s theming. At the Polynesian Village it’s the King Kamehameha Club.

When I arrived at the resort I noticed a sign for Club Level check-in. My family and I were promptly escorted to this exclusive section of the resort, where we were introduced to our Concierge Assistant. We took our seats in this comfortable area (no standing in line, no standing at a counter to check in) as he assisted with the check-in process and provided us with details about what we were about to enjoy at this resort.

A private line for personal assistance? YES, please!

I was most surprised that our Concierge provided me with a phone number that I could text anytime, while in the parks, if we had any issues or questions. Of course I tested their abilities in the park with a Fastpass issue and was very much impressed with the assistance I received!  Texting “my” concierge felt like I was traveling with my own personal assistant, and I highly recommend it!!

What does the lounge offer?

Let’s talk more about this lounge.  It has a small café atmosphere with a few tables, a TV playing Disney cartoons, and light breakfast, afternoon snacks, heavy appetizers, desserts and cordials each evening. Beer and wine are also available, as well as coffee, tea, juices, milk, and soda. Access to this lounge and all food and beverages, including alcohol, are at no additional cost. We enjoyed a variety of treats throughout the day. It was especially nice to return from the parks for an afternoon break and refuel and rehydrate.

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort’s Club Level lounge overlooks the Seven Seas Lagoon and has an amazing view of Cinderella Castle. Every night the lights go down and music is piped in so, if you don’t feel like going outside, you can watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks and Electric Water Pageant from there.

But wait — there’s MORE!

Other amenities for Club Level guests include plush robes provided in all rooms, superior bath toiletries, daily newspapers freely available, and evening turndown service with chocolates on your pillow!

Currently guests staying Club Level are granted a VIP opportunity to purchase 3 EXTRA Fastpasses per day. This is in addition to the 3 already included with every ticket purchase. This is a test program, so it is subject to change without notice. For right now, though, guests who choose to participate in the program can purchase these extra fastpasses for $50 per person per day with a minimum of 3 purchased days. This may be done 90 days prior to scheduled check-out date. Ask your travel agent for additional details.

Walt Disney World has a variety of fabulous resorts, but if you want to step up the feel of luxury, comfort, and convenience, consider staying at Club Level in one of Walt Disney World’s Deluxe resorts. Club Level amenities are similar at all resorts, but each resort has its own personality.
