If you’re looking for a different dining option in Animal Kingdom, look no further than Tiffins.

This signature dining restaurant is located just off the path on your way to Pandora.  You can enjoy either lunch or dinner in a quiet atmosphere with the most unique surroundings.  This decor is inspired by the real life global travels of Disney Imagineers and each piece tells a story.

Since this is a signature dining experience, the prices are higher (and two credits must be used if you’re on the Disney Dining Plan) but the quality supports the higher pricing.  You won’t find burgers and pizza here.  Tiffins is famously known for their grilled octopus, wagyu beef & exotic drinks.

Don’t worry, the kids have a tamer menu to choose from and they are very accommodating with picky eaters.

If you don’t want to have a full meal here but still want to enjoy a drink and light snack, you can check out the Nomad Lounge which surrounds the restaurant as a sort of “backyard” porch.  Some of the offerings include a brisket poutine, chicken satay, bread service and even the octopus.

Tiffins service has always been top notch.  When we went to have lunch there this past April, they had a “Welcome Back” postcard waiting for us at our table with our family name on it (how neat is that!?)

Tiffins also offers a Rivers of Light dining package.  You can take advantage of this and get priority seating tickets for that night’s Rivers of Light show in Animal Kingdom.  Each family also gets a beautiful Joe Rohde original print to take home.  Joe Rohde is basically the creator of Animal Kingdom so this is a pretty cool keepsake!

So next time you’re looking for something different to experience at Animal Kingdom, give Tiffins a try.  You may just fall in love with this very unique restaurant!
