I’ve shared my lists of Top 5 Table Service Restaurants and 5 Best Quick Service Restaurants, so it’s no secret that the food at Walt Disney World Resort is one of my favorite things about visiting “The Most Magical Place on Earth!” If you missed those posts, be sure to click the links above. Today I’ve got a NEW LIST for you. And I really mean NEW!
Here are 5 dining locations I’m most looking forward to in 2020:
Topolino’s Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera – Disney’s Riviera Resort
This newly opened rooftop restaurant at WDW’s newest resort hotel offers Character Dining for breakfast and Signature Dining for dinner.
“Topolino” is the Italian name for Mickey Mouse. You’ll get a chance to meet him — along with Minnie, Daisy, and Donald — during breakfast, where you’ll have your choice of entree. I can’t decide between trying the Sour Cream Waffles or the Croissant au Jambon! Click here to check out the full menu.
For dinner, you’ll dine on handcrafted pastas, seafood, and meats with French and Italian flavors.
Space 220 – Epcot
Set to open late Winter 2020, this Table Service restaurant will be an experience in itself! Once inside, you’ll board a special elevator that will make you feel like you’re being transported 220 miles above the Earth to a space station for your incredible meal among the stars.
The menu will feature “modern American cuisine,” according to the Disney World website.
We’ll keep you posted as new details become available. Be sure you’re following us on social media.
Roundup Rodeo BBQ – Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Coming later this year is this much-anticipated restaurant in Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Roundup Rodeo BBQ will be an immersive Table Service dining establishment, set in Andy’s backyard. I love BBQ, and am eagerly waiting for the menu and more info on this restaurant to be released!
Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts and Barbecue – Epcot
Another BBQ restaurant set to open in 2020 is the Regal Eagle Smokehouse at Epcot! This new Quick Service eatery will be located at The American Adventure pavilion, so naturally the menu is going to feature BBQ from around the United States: Kansas City smoked chicken, Memphis dry-rub pork ribs, North Carolina chopped smoked pork, as well as the classic American burger. And as the restaurant’s name suggests, home-style craft beers will also be served.
Beaches & Cream Soda Shop – Disney’s Beach Club Resort
The newly remodeled Beaches & Cream Soda Shop (located at Disney’s Beach Club Resort Hotel) re-opened in December 2019, and I can’t wait to go back to check it out! The space has been expanded in size, as well as given new furniture and decor. A few new dishes and desserts have been added to the classic menu of milkshakes, burgers, and sundaes.
I’ve got my eye on the new COOKIE FRIES! Plant-based cookie fries with marshmallow cream, chocolate, caramel, and strawberry dipping sauces — YUM!
And of course, the famous fan-favorite Kitchen Sink is back, if you’re up for the challenge!
I’m officially hungry now — are you? Let us know which of these you’re most looking forward to trying!
OH! And don’t forget to talk to your favorite A Time to Treasure Travel agent to include these in the plans for your next WDW vacation!
