This Deluxe Resort at Walt Disney World has all the grace and splendor of a grand New England-style yacht club.
Guest Rooms at the Yacht Club are approximately 400 sq. ft. and most have 2 Queen beds and one day bed. There is plenty of storage space in drawers, closets, and the beds are raised high enough for suitcases to fit under. There is a small table and chair as well as a patio or balcony with chairs. Be sure to check out the constellations in the curtains!
The Yacht Club is within walking distance to EPCOT and a convenient boat ride to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Or you can walk over to Epcot and hop on the Disney Skyliner for a gondola ride to Hollywood Studios! The Skyliner also travels to Disney’s Riviera Resort as well as Caribbean Beach, Pop Century, and Art of Animation resorts.
The main pool at the Yacht Club (and also shared by Disney’s Beach Club Resort, which is right next door) is like a mini water park. “Stormalong Bay” is 3 acres and features a sand-bottom, zero-entry lazy river, and water slide that looks like a shipwrecked ship’s mast! There is also a kiddie pool and “quiet” pool. There are many lounge chairs around and a terrific pool bar. Cabanas are available for rent.
There are a number of delicious dining options to enjoy. Ale&Compass and Yachtsman Steakhouse are located at Disney’s Yacht Club; Cape May Cafe is conveniently located next door at Disney’s Beach Club.
Looking for more dining options? Disney’s BoardWalk has got you covered. This is also the place to go for some evening entertainment options just across the lake – accessible by boat or walking bridge.
