Hi, my name is Karen! I’m a wife and mom of 3 with a dream of working at Disney World when I grow up—maybe as a dancer in the Main Street parade, or sell safari Mickey Ears at a kiosk in Animal Kingdom, or even be a ride operator for Slinky Dog Dash! I vacationed at Disney World with my family as a child, but my love and passion for all things Disney started after my husband and I took a vacation there—before we even had kids!
Having traveled all over the U.S. and even to many places internationally, I realized that no destination can compare to a Disney Destination! I love the attention to detail that Disney puts into everything, from the changing music and pavement between lands at Magic Kingdom to the Disney Transportation bus drivers giving my children “trading cards” about the different buses they might ride while on Disney property. These little touches create a magic unlike any other place I’ve experienced, and given the choice of where to go on our next family vacation we always choose DISNEY!!!
Though I would love to visit Disney everyday, I will have to instead get my “fix” by helping others experience the magic of Disney. I am so thankful for the opportunity to be a travel planner, because I love helping people make lifelong memories! I love sharing my favorite restaurants, rides, snacks, and resorts. Or helping people who aren’t into rides or crowds enjoy Disney, too (Pin trading, in-park scavenger hunts, and finding those elusive hidden Mickeys are a few of my secrets).
I have learned through much trial and error how to get the most bang for your buck on a stroller rental or how to get the most benefit out of a Fast Pass. If taking a Disney vacation is something that feels overwhelming to you, I’m here to help! It would be such a joy for me to take away that burden and free you up to experience Disney magic without the stress.
