With almost 400 restaurants at Walt Disney World, there is no shortage of good food to be found! Here are my 5 personal favorite Table Service restaurants, and why I love them!
Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant
Location: The Landing, Disney Springs
Menu: Irish Cuisine
As the name implies, Raglan Road is an Irish pub with traditional Irish food on the menu, such as shepherd’s pie and fish & chips… but the cheeseburger and sirloin are excellent, too! And the Bread and Butter bread pudding dessert is out-of-this-world yummy! If the delicious food wasn’t reason enough to visit Raglan Road, my favorite reason for having dinner here is that every night musicians and dancers take the stage to entertain diners. Kids are even invited to come up on stage and learn Irish step-dancing, so don’t assume this “pub” isn’t a place for little ones — this restaurant is very family-friendly!
Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria
Location: Italy Pavilion, Epcot World Showcase
Menu: Italian cuisine
If you are looking for the absolute best pizza on Disney World property, head to Via Napoli. The pies here are made in the traditional Neapolitan way: thin crust made with flour imported from southern Italy, fresh mozzarella cheese, and cooked in wood-burning stoves. The chicken parmigiana is delicious, as well! And for dessert, you can’t go wrong with the Zeppole, pistachio gelato, or the Gelato Frizzante!
50’s Prime Time Cafe
Location: Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Menu: American cuisine
It’s a “blast from the past” when you dine at this kitschy restaurant that is themed like a family kitchen from 1955 (complete with vinyl chairs, Formica countertops, and black-and-white TVs which play clips from popular shows of the era). The food here is classic American comfort food at it’s finest: fried chicken, pot roast, meatloaf – and a sampler platter of all 3, if you’re like me and can’t choose! And my meal here isn’t complete without getting the Peanut Butter & Jelly milkshake for dessert!
Cinderella’s Royal Table
Location: Magic Kingdom
Menu: American cuisine
It isn’t hard to see why Cinderella’s Royal Table is one of the most sought-after dining reservations to get at Disney World. Here, you have the opportunity to meet several of the Disney Princesses while you dine, including a photo op with Cinderella before going upstairs to be seated for your meal. And who wouldn’t love the chance to eat inside Cinderella Castle?! For that experience alone I would put Cinderella’s Royal Table on my list of favorite Table Service restaurants. But the food is delicious, too (the steak here is one of the best I’ve had on Disney World property!)
Jiko – The Cooking Place
Location: Animal Kingdom Lodge
Menu: African, Indian and Mediterranean cuisine
My dinner at Jiko has been the best meal at Disney World I have eaten, hands down! The restaurant is beautiful, service is top-notch, and honestly, words can’t describe how delicious the food is. If you have a chance to eat at this Signature Dining establishment, do it!
It was hard to narrow my choices down to just 5, but there they are!
