Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, the ever popular makeover spot for children, has been closed since March of 2020 when Walt Disney World closed down. It’s set to reopen August 25th on both coasts!

The reopening locations are Disneyland Park at Disneyland Resort and Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World (locations at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and at Disney Springs will reopen at a later date). Reservations are required and can be made up to 60 days in advance using the Disneyland or MyDisneyExperience mobile apps.

Fairy Godmother Apprentices will transform children aged 3-12 into princesses and knights. Different packages are available at different price points. This experience starts at $19.95 for the Knight Package and goes all the way up to $229.95+ for the Deluxe Castle Package. One way to save on this experience is to bring along your own costume. Buying one there will cost quite a bit more, so we always liked to bring along ours from home.

The experience begins with taking your knight or princess to the Boutique, checking in and getting settled in the salon area. Two people total can come inside to watch the transformation take place. Then the Fairy Godmother Apprentices will work their magic on your child’s hair, makeup, nails, etc. (depending on the package you purchase) to their liking and at the very end, they get pixie dusted while they recite the famous Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo spiel! It’s truly magical and a Photopass photographer is present for the entire process so you can get all of those precious photos added to your MemoryMaker.

Afterwards, at the Magic Kingdom location, you can visit the Photopass Studio located just behind Cinderella’s castle for additional photos (these are free as well) and will be added to your MemoryMaker.

PRO TIP: Make the appointment for early in the morning so you can get a full day out of the makeover. Usually, the hair will stay put overnight if you want to try to get 2 days out of it!

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is such a precious experience and creates a memory you’ll never forget with your little one!
